Tell
each of your guests to come to the class with something that shows a
lapse in memory. For example, come to the class wearing only one
sock or with only half of your make-up on (only one side of your
face). Give out paper and pencils, and give everyone 10 minutes to
see who can guess the most memory lapses correctly. The person that does wins the prize.
Toilet Paper Bow
Take a
roll of toilet paper with you to the party (or ask hostess for a
roll). Pass the roll around to each guest and
tell
them to take as much as they will need. (Don’t tell them what they
will need it for). Some will take 1 square, while others will take
10.
Now ask
everyone to stand, put both hands behind their backs and tie a bow.
Have everyone vote on whose is the best, or most imaginative. Give
that person a gift or give something to all.
Now
that you have them on their feet invite them up to your display to
take a peek.
Repeat Guests
This is great for
repeat guests; you want them to be involved.
Purchase a very attractively decorated package
(something from your
inventory) and told them that for earning tickets tonight, they will
have a chance to win this beautiful gift from me! (I pass out
tickets during my class)
Here is the catch:
they had to "do" my show! I asked the group, "Ok, which one of you
would like to come up here and welcome everyone and thank the
Hostess for having the party tonight?" One of the guests jumped
right up, and I'll be darned if she didn't say exactly what I
usually say!!
I gave her
6 tickets for doing that. After she was done, I then asked someone
to get up and share something about their favorite product. Do this
with each repeat guest!Their job wasn't over
yet. I asked someone to come up and do the Door Prize Slip - games
and all. They were great!!!
When all
was said and done, they had the best time ever at one of my classes
and it held their interest. I did the
drawing and one guest won the
gift. But the best part of the night was when I confessed to them: I told
them I keep coming and making money off them and tonight was no different;
except, THEY did the show while I watched, and I was the one getting paid
for it!!!!
